Dr. Gerry Ross

Dr. Gerry Ross graduated from the University of Toronto in 1971 and started his dental practice in Tottenham that same year. For over 30 years Dr. Ross has treated his patients with the most innovative tools that dentistry has to offer, including Air Abrasion, Diagnodent and Lasers. He provides tremendous support to the dental community, and is dedicated to learning and teaching the newest techniques in dentistry.

To date, Dr. Ross has given more than 100 courses on Air Abrasion around the world, lecturing to both individual dentists as well large audiences. He is also very much involved in research, performing original research on the Diagnodent, from which he published 4 primary articles.

Dr. Gerry Ross has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years in Tottenham, Ontario as a general dentist who specializes in TMJ Treatment. He has been using lasers, both low level and surgical, since 1990 and has lectured extensively in Canada, the United States and Internationally. He holds advanced proficiency status from the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD) and a fellowship from the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS).
 
In October 2008, Dr. Ross presented a paper and chaired a dental session at the World Association of Laser Therapy (WALT) Meeting held in South Africa. Dr. Ross has written many articles on the use of Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) in Dentistry, which have been published in such journals as Ontario Dentist, Oral Health, the Journal of the ALD and, most recently, the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). Dr. Ross holds memberships in the ALD, ASLMS, Ontario and Canadian Dental Associations, WALT, and has recently become a board member of the North American Association of Laser Therapy (NAALT).
 

Alana Ross

Alana Ross graduated with an Honours Degree in Biomedical Science in 2004. In that same year, Alana joined Dr. Ross in forming Laser Light Canada, a company involved in the distribution of and education relating to low level lasers and phototherapy equipment in North America.

 Alana has co-written many articles on low level laser therapy, and has been published in Oral Health, the Academy of Laser Dentistry and the peer-reviewed journal, the Academy of General Dentistry. She has been a member of the North American Association of Laser Therapy (NAALT) since 2004 and became a board member in 2009. She is currently chair of the NAALT Conference Committee and is serving on the Membership Committee.
