Side Effects and Contradictions
Side
Effects: There are no side effects to Low Level Laser Therapy
(LLLT) or Phototherapy. Hundreds of scientific studies (double-blind,
randomized and placebo controlled where possible) have shown this
technology to be safe and effective. To view some of the article abstracts
supporting the safety and effectives of LLLT, see the section of our
website Articles.
Please note that pain is often the symptom and not the disease; It
is necessary to make sure the root cause of the painful condition
is accurately identified and treated. Additionally, although there
are no side effects to laser therapy, it is recommended that you are
aware of the appropriate dose for each indication so as to maximize
the beneficial effects of laser therapy (for example, fibroblasts
are inhibited at a dose higher than 5J, so you dont want to
exceed this dose when stimulating wound healing).
Contraindications:
Do not treat:

(retinal exposure to Class 3B
